Exactly 7 months ago, I walked down the aisle in this wedding dress. It was a simple one, something I chose to reflect my simple personality.*wink*
I was seven months expecting and I had to let go of my dreams of wearing that V-back, princess cut flamboyant wedding gown I designed for myself. But just because I was seven months expecting doesn't mean that I won't be entitled to look fabulous on our big day. I didn't want to look funny walking down that red carpet wearing something that looked sloppy on me. So I had to get my sketchpad again and conceptualized on something that will still look flattering on me. Afterwards, I consulted my ever opinionated and artistic husband-to-be then.

We came up with a tube, empire line wedding dress which will highlight the only perfect feature I have- my shoulders! Haha... At 32B, there is nothing I can flaunt for the bust area. But I had no choice but to draw the attention upwards since my belly's almost at its peak already. I accentuated the waist (yes, I still have one then! Hooray! Hehe...)
Of course, I didn't want to look shapeless, so I opted for an A-Line since it looks good on everyone. Including expectant moms like me. :) The dress was made using Duchess Satin, and I made sure that it would be long and dramatic, with a simple chapel train.
It was simple. And it was so me... I loved it! :)
